This site is devoted to fanfiction from the TV series VIPER, which ran in 1994 and again in 1996-1999.
It's a show about a souped up police patrol car fighting crime... to put it plainly. But you probably know at least a little
bit about the show or why else would you be here...
Method
Rules
- Age Appropriate. All stories must be PG-13 or less. Content is no more than language or occassional nudity.
No slash. I'll occasionally allow R if I think the extra violence or fouler language is necessary (i.e. in Aliens
you wouldn't say, "Oh, darn.")
- Disclaimer. You may put your disclaimer in with your author's notes, just indicate somewhere
that Viper belongs to Pet Fly or whatever the fanfiction, that it belongs to a specific creator (someone may wish
to look up the specific creator to find out more, so make it specific). Simply "This doesn't belong to me" won't cut it.
- Summary. I'd like a short summary. Just a sentence or two telling me what your story is about.
- E-mail. I'd also like an e-mail address where I can reach you at, and please tell me, also, whether
you wish that address displayed on this site. (If you don't have e-mail, may I recommend Excite. Nice little provider.)
- Name. A nice little nickname to go with your work would be helpful. It doesn't have to be your real name,
unless you'd rather it be.
- Crossovers. If you've got one, send it on over! Can't have too many crossovers! Just remember to provide
disclaimers for all the universes (except for the parts that are simply one line of "...and that blond guy who makes
all kinds of things out of spare parts"). They may all be in one section. I will make a separate section for crossovers.
- Format. Very important. I've had some trouble receiving the correct format... I prefer the story to be
in very simple html format, Wordpad such as .doc, Notepad or text. Do NOT send .wps
- Spelling and Punctuation. Okay, I don't expect you to be perfect, but if the grammatical errors make
it difficult to read, it may slow approval.
- Original and OTHER Fanfiction Stories Are ALSO Allowed. Provided they meet the above requirements. Disclaimers
if they're fanfiction, no disclaimers if they're original. Let me know if they're original stuff, and I'll put a disclaimer
saying they belong to you (unless you beat me to the punch. ;) )
- Evil Overlady's Discretion. As the maintainer of this site, I reserve the right to accept or reject any
story I choose without reason. Alternatively or additionally, I recommend either joining Fanfiction.net or making your own web page via Tripod or some other web provider.
